The individuals and
organizations that make up the Foundation Coalition should be aware
of changing societal needs and technological capabilities, should
operate in an atmosphere of reflection, and should exhibit a willingness
to change and adapt. Our curricula must be responsive to the students
and industry it serves and our students must be responsive to the
needs of society. Once again, the management of change is a key competency,
as is the utilization of technology as it relates to the learning
process and to the practice of the engineering profession.
