Prior to academic year 1998-1999, the FIPE program at Arizona State
University was spread over two semesters. Freshman students would
take ECE100 in the fall of their freshman year and then proceed
to ECE194 in the fall of their sophomore year.
In subsequent years, the FIPE program was taught as an integrated
course in consecutive fall and spring semesters.
