Introduction
Faculty members across the Foundation Coalition (FC) have revised their courses to incorporate one or more of the FC core competencies. Modules from some of the revised courses have been collected to help other faculty members think about how they might teach their courses differently.

Disciplinary Areas

• College-wide Engineering - illustrates how sophomore-level engineering science courses may be restructured using the conservation and accounting framework.
• Civil Engineering - illustrates how junior and senior-level civil engineering courses can be revised using technology-enabled learning and active/cooperative learning.
• EC 2000 Instructional Modules - provides modules to increase performance with respect to the EC 2000 student outcomes.
• Electrical Engineering - illustrates how teaching engineering design might be integrated into sophomore and junior-level electrical engineering courses.
• Industrial Engineering - illustrates how junior and senior-level topics in industrial enginering might be taught using active/cooperative learning.
• Nanotechnology - illustratives how new topics in nanotechnology can incorporative active/cooperative learning and student team activities. Modules for nanotechnology are constructed for a project sponsored by the Nanotechnology in Undergraduate Education (NUE) program of the National Science Foundation.
