An on-line, distance learning community for faculty and instructional staff, sponsored by the Foundation Coalition and facilitated by colleagues from the University of Wisconsin Madison

  • Want to bridge the gap between theory and practice?
    Explore ways of knowing (theories of learning, learning styles, disciplinary and cultural perspectives) and how they inform ways of practice (both teaching practice and engineering practice).
  • Whats involved?
    Orientation in Madison, Wisconsin. Weekly on-line discussions based on readings. Personalized curriculum project. Two to three hours per week commitment. $1000 honorarium during pilot. Limited enrollment.
  • Who may participate?
    Faculty and instructional staff in teams of two or more from one institution. Preference will be given to teams with engineering and nonengineering colleagues.
