Assessment and Evaluation Tools and Processes

Project Goal:

The Assessment and Evaluation project aims to help engineering faculty learn more about assessment and evaluation so that they may design and implement appropriate processes in their classes and programs.

Project Process:

This project relies on several different types of materials including printed documents, workshops, and web resources to enable faculty to effectively and efficiently implement assessment and evaluation processes. These materials are intended to address many levels of faculty interest. For example, faculty interested in a brief introduction to assessment and evaluation would be well served by the one page summary. Faculty committed to implementing assessment and evaluation in their course or program might seek an on-campus workshop.

Deliverables

One page summary on assessment and evaluation [Mohit, please link to PDF file for A&E one-pager]
A searchable database of FC assessment and evaluation projects
An annotated bibliography of assessment and evaluation literature
Web resources on assessment and evaluation
