Marketing of Materials for Five FC Key Component Projects
 

Project Goal:

The five key components

are five pedagogical theories that help form the theoretical foundation for the curricular innovations of the Foundation Coalition. The goal of the project is to create materials through which other faculty members and institutions can benefit from our experience, mistakes and innovations. The project will produce one-page introductions, in-depth brochures, workshops and web pages that, hopefully, will faculty members learn more about these pedagogical theories and be able to adapt them for use in their own classes

Project Process:

The project team will generate various tools aimed at developing greater understanding of and/or commitment to the five Foundation Coalition key components listed above. Since understanding and/or commitment develops in stages, the tools are aimed at promoting transition among the following levels of understanding and/or commitment:

  • awareness
  • interest
  • search
  • decision
  • action
