Statistics
When is Statistics Covered?
Statistics are introduced in ENGR112 during Class 18.1.1* to aid in the data analysis and Excel lecture.
Probability is also introduced in ENGR112 during Class 18.1.2.*

Why are Significant Figures and Error Important?
Statistics encompasses scientific methods for collecting, organizing, summarizing, presenting, and analyzing data as well as making conclusions based on the data. Many engineering problems include statistical analysis of data in order to achieve a solution.
